FUNERAL AND MEMORIAL CEREMONIES
When a person dear to you dies, it’s important to come together, to remember them and most of all celebrate their life. That’s why I firmly believe that a bespoke funeral or memorial ceremony should tell the story of your loved one in a heartfelt and respectful manner.
At this very difficult and emotional time, it’s important to have a ceremony that’s a fitting and unique tribute, whether that be formal or an informal ‘goodbye’.
Let me guide you through this process by listening to the family’s wishes and working together to create a ceremony that accurately reflects the life, values and beliefs of the deceased.

CIVIL FUNERAL CEREMONY
A celebrant led funeral celebrates the life of the deceased in a highly personalised way. I will visit the family with the aim of capturing the very essence of that person to help craft an impactful and memorable ceremony that’s a true reflection of the person’s life.

BURIALS AND NATURAL BURIALS
Woodland burials are an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional burials. If this is your loved one’s specific choice the ceremony would typically happen at a meeting place before travelling to the burial site for another shorter ceremony.

SCATTERING OR BURIAL OF ASHES
After cremation this ceremony takes place to commemorate the scattering of your loved one’s ashes in a place that has special significance to them.

MEMORIAL CEREMONY
This type of ceremony is normally held some time after the funeral and can be held in any location. It’s more informal and there’s no time restriction, so it can be longer to allow time for more family and friends to contribute their memories with anecdotes, readings or appropriate poems. If it was your loved one’s choice to have a direct cremation this ceremony can be an ideal way to bring people together afterwards to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.
